StoneTac 6oz Aerosol Low Bloom Accelerator for Natural Stone

Description

The Chem-Set StoneTac Accelerator Spray is a next-generation aerosol accelerator developed specifically for CA  stone repair kits to reduce the occurrence of “green bloom”. Green-Bloom or Discoloration of stone is commonly caused by an overuse of standard CA (Chip Repair) Accelerator/Activator Sprays on light-colored varieties of granite when the standard activators react with UV light coming from windows. The Stone-Tac has been tested on a number of these sensitive granite types and no discoloration has occured, even when completely soaked in the activator for days/weeks at a time.

Note: ChemSet StoneTac should still be applied as a light mist. If the surface of the stone looks to be visibly wet, you are applying too much.

Chemical Concepts would reccomend using the StoneTac with all granite and marble but especially with light-colored stones that may discolor with standard Activators like Quick Tack II. The activator may be more expensive but you do not have to worry about any potential discoloration.
