Product Spotlight: Techcon Dispensing Tips
Techcon is known for fluid and adhesive dispensing products used in most industrial markets, such as medical, automotive and general manufacturing. For dispensing, Techcon makes syringes, spool valves and automated equipment. These products improve productivity and hygiene in the workplace. At Chemical Concepts we carry Techcon products, and today we are going to focus on the wide range of dispensing tips that we stock.
Techcon makes a variety of dispensing tips, which come in tapered tips and straight tips that are perfect for UV adhesives, anaerobics, cyanoacrylates, lubricants, silicones, polyurethanes and other adhesives. These tips also come in various materials to handle specific materials such as Teflon, Polyethylene, polypropylene, stainless steel and nickel plated. These are used in conjunction with dispensing equipment, syringes, various cartridges and micro shot valves.

Our larger gauge dispensing tips (14 – 22 gauge) are ideal for high viscosity adhesives or adhesives that need to be dispensed in large quantities. With a smooth internal fluid path specifically designed for reduced turbulence flow and a “back pressure” build-up design to prevent fluid dripping and air entrapment, the large-gauge dispensing tips are made for precision and consistency.
Getting into the smaller gauge dispensing tips (23-27 gauge), these tips are designed for extreme precision with lower viscosity adhesives. All of these tips are available in either stainless steel needles or tapered silicone tips. With a burr-free, electropolished cannula for unobstructed and consistent material flow, this is the premier line of small-scale dispensing tips.
The smallest gauge dispensing tip that we stock is the 30-gauge needle tip, which is the ultimate tool for extreme precision in low-viscosity adhesives. This tip is ideal for cyanoacrylate application, as projects generally require very little cyanoacrylate adhesive and it has a very low viscosity.
